Elemental Altitude is a state of the art indoor training center capable of simulating elevation of up to 15,000 feet. Training is conducted in an oxygen deficient (hypoxic) environment and is pursued for many reasons. It is utilized as a tool to trigger physiological changes in the body to improve performance. The body’s physiological response to a lack of oxygen is an increase in EPO (erythropoietin) which results in an increase in red blood cells. Red blood cells deliver oxygen to the body, thus the increased number of red blood cells leads to improved oxygen delivery.
